Members may, subject to Whatsfund’s approval, submit their request are seeking funding via Campaigns,from other Members in exchange for perks, to the Website by use of the crowdfunding platform. Member seeking funding via campaigns are known as Campaign Owners ( CO ). Members backing campaigns are known as Backers. Any posting of Campaigns shall be made in accordance with (i) applicable legislation and (ii) the instructions set forth on the website from time to time. All prerequisites for Fund Raising Campaigns shall be set by the Company responsible. Fund raising Campaigns shall provide Members with information requested by Whatsfund and as set forth on the website from time to time. Whatsfund reserves the right to approve or reject any offer made by Members via the Whatsfund platform. At the campaign’s conclusion, Whatsfund undertakes to finalize the campaign in accordance with applicable rules. Whatsfund reserves the right to deny any Fund Raising Campaigns access to the website at any time and for any reason. In addition, Whatsfund reserves the right to, at any time and at its convenience, cancel, interrupt or suspend any Fund Raising Campaigns at any time, subject to prior notice. Such cancellation, suspension or interruption may be made due to members’ or the Fund Raising Campaign's violation of applicable legislation, the Terms or Use or any terms applicable to the Website. Each Fund Raising Campaign shall be open for the maximum period of time set forth on the website by the fundraising CO. During the campaign, a Backer may participate in the fundraising by pledging the amount that he or she would like to invest into a Whatsfund account. The campaign ends, when the amount is fully funded, or when the maximum period of time frame set forth is reached. After the campaign concludes, the Campaign Owner responsible for the Fund Raising Campaign shall provide all documentation necessary for completing the investment, , and the fund raised will be transferred to CO account in accordance to the terms agreed between CO and Whatsfund. Whatsfund is a crowd funding platform for both campaign owners seeking funds for their campaigns and Backers interested in funding these campaigns.Whatsfund does not provide any advice or take any part in the investment process, except providing a means for collection of funds on behalf of campaign owners.. Any and all investment in any form is always made without the involvement of Whatsfund, and any investment agreement is made only between the CO and a Backer reporting interest to invest in such a campaign. Any decision to invest in a campaign is solely the decision of the Backer.Whatsfund shall never be liable for any CO 's failure to fulfill the promise of perks, in any form. Members, must be responsible for doing their own risk assessment before making any investment via Whatsfund platform. All information given, declared and submitted to Whatsfund are deemed to be true, accurate and complete.
After a successful Fund Raising Campaign on our Whatsfund platform, Whatsfund levies a 5% platform fee of the total sums raised, plus any fund transfer fees levied by Payment Gateways, e.g. Paypal). This amount is minus off from the amount raised, before disbursement to the borrower.
In the case of unsuccessful projects, for the pre-authorized transactions of an investor of Whatsfund at the project deadline, no funds will be captured from investors and no funds will be transferred to the CO.
